Your CUSU committee are proud to announce the Rainbow Ball 2019! The annual Rainbow Ball is the end-of-year celebration for the LGBT+ students of the University of Cambridge. As summer approaches and May Ball season begins, it’s a moment to come together and celebrate our community.

This event is intended for current & former members of the University of Cambridge, and their guests only (whose tickets should be purchased by the member of the university). If you are not a member and still wish to attend please get in touch.

There will be drag acts on the main stage, with notice given prior to the performance and in the programme for the night. During this time there will be other activities and events in other locations you can enjoy if you don’t wish to be in the main stage area.

Tickets cost £47 for a standard ticket, and £54 for queue jump. Make sure to watch out for posts regarding ticket release dates!

There will be a variety of spaces within the Ball, including those away from the Main Stage. Unfortunately, one of these spaces is not wheelchair accessible, although the rest are. However, there will be also be a (wheelchair accessible) quiet room available on request. There is seating, an accessible toilet, a gender neutral toilet, and general car parking. There is a hearing loop by request in advance. There isn’t a BSL interpreter.
There may be flashing lights in the main auditorium during performances. There if no lift to the raised balcony at the back of the auditorium. Dresscode is entirely gender neutral.
