Hi, I’m Fletch, your welfare rep. I work with other reps to address welfare issues and ensure that all students have access to the support they need. College LGBT+ reps are a good resource for issues to do with sexuality and gender, but you can also email me about anything, serious or trivial, and I can correspond with you online or in person. If you’re nervous about going to events and not knowing people, I can give you information about what different events are like and arrange to meet up with you while you’re there and make sure you have someone to talk to. The CUSU LGBT+ welfare page has a list of other good resources available, and if you’d like more information I can advise you on which resources are likely to be helpful.
