There will be a showing of Angels in America – from beginning to end – from 7pm on Friday 28th October at Leckhampton House.

Angels in America – an epic movie 6 hours in length – stars Al Pacino, Meryl Streep and Emma Thompson and is the winner of 5 Golden Globe Awards. It’s based on Tony Kushner’s Pulitzer Prize-winning play (of the same name), focusing on the outbreak of AIDS in the 1980s and the interplay of politics and religion in America during this time: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0318997/

Please do come if you can. I’ll bake some cake and bring snacks to keep us going. Just drop me a line (rac87) or go to the facebook event (http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=129730967132281) so that I have an idea about numbers.
